Books For your browsing pleasure: Mr Gray's magnificent Emporium, and other linky wonders of the modern age
Just a few housekeeping announcements:
- I've opened up the Swiss Cheese and Bullets reading list, a little shop to share with you a few of my favourite reads and to make a few small pennies. They really are very few and very small – oh to be David Airey – but hopefully one day they'll add up to enough to help me get that next massive Hellboy book.
- I recently did a bit of bolt-tightening and spit-polishing on the design of the site (which makes a nice change from the usual six-monthly complete overhaul), including a change of typeface. Let me know if anything is broken or unreadable.
- I'm still importing a few old posts from previous tumblr versions of this site – have a root around in the index to see some random greyhounds, Braun dials and Tunnockulous artworks.
- Elsewhere on the web, I'm still collecting wedding garb inspiration at The Gray Suit (which is essentially a John Slattery fansite), stockpiling other people's work on Designspiration and demonstrating how appallingly unwell-read I am on Goodreads. My oh-so-colourful brutalist tumblr Concrete Proof is still out there, but it's been a bit inactive for a good while. I'll get back on top of that at some point. I've pretty much given up on the rapidly outmoded Flickr, so I won't even bother linking to that.
- A big thank you to all the followers, subscribers and commenters. You're all lovely and really quite handsome. Apologies for the slightly clunky commenting system that's in place – it's the standard one built into Squarespace and I really hope they streamline it a little bit in the near future. I'll stick with it for now, because the alternative is Disqus, a system so obnoxious it makes me want to punch myself in the eyes.
Good, that's that done. And how are you?

Have you seen I Hardly Know Her? It takes your Flickr pictures and cuts out the crap. Unfortunately your lovely use of the Rokkit typeface doesn't show up on my work computer (PC/Firefox). Oh and please can you update Concrete Proof again? I miss those lumps of concrete on my tumblr feed.
@Alix
I might have a play with that – thanks! What version of Firefox are you on? Google Web Fonts should work with 3.5 and higher.
I'm on Firefox version 4.0.1. Apparently. But this work PC is probably the most rubbish-ist computer I've ever used so that may be why. My employers think that IE8 is cutting edge. I miss my Mac.
