Okay, so here's a new picture of Dr Who and his new companion. Do we care about his new companion? Not really.

It's all about the shoes.

My Doc-style white Converse are on the verge of retirement, so I'm quite excited to see everyones' favourite Cardiff-based timelord wearing a new pair that I can steal. Thing is, I can't quite tell which colour he's gone for. Are they red or maroon? Or maybe brown?

I emailed the Beeb a couple of hours ago politely demanding more information, and they kindly sent me this close-up from their original picture. They look pretty maroon, don't you think?
